HOLIDAY MUST HAVE/TWO PEICE BARGAIN

Two piece | Miss Selfridge
Bag | New Look
Shoes | Vivienne Wetwood

So I fly out to my favorite place again tomorrow, Milan. So I will be over the next week posting all things fashion from the fashion capital itself so keep posted.. As per everything is a mad rush as I've left everything last minute.. I'm only just starting to pack!!! Here's my holiday must haves..
My love for matching two pieces is still going strong even more so now after finding this beauty a while back in Miss Selfridge. I'm a lover of high waist clothing.. Jeans, shorts, skirts if you’re petite like me I recommend high waist clothes as they elongate your legs and with the right pair extremely flattering!
This two piece was such a cheeky bargain I think I paid £10 in total as at the time the offer was buy on get one free although I bought this a few months ago I did see that they still have them in sale. So if your quick you can still get your hands on a set it also comes in a turquoise colour too..  They are ideal for holiday with a pair of jeweled sandals or you can dress it up a little like I have and pair them with a small heel and clutch.

Again another jumpsuit post as I cant get enough of them I find them so easy to wear. This one is much more dressier than the previous one I've posted. I purchased this lover from Miss Selfridge last month in the sale. It's a lovely tailored fit and is ideal if your a bit on the short side like myself. The only thing that I'm not to keen on is the sleeves which you can't see but that have a short butterfly flare. I recommend a long jacket especially if your around the same height as me as I tried on a short jacket and it did not go at all made me look even shorter plus a longer length jacket gives off a more polished look. As usual I couldn't resist the Viv's as they go with absolutely everything!

ALL BLACK EVERYTHING

So if you me you will know that I am a lover of all black. Today was a really busy day at work, I knew I would be I my feet all day, so I knew I needed too dress comfortably, yet appropriate for work. The jumpsuit I'm wearing is from Warehouse, which is fairly new in.. If your I've of them people like me that sits and stares ate the wardrobe thinking what to wear this jumpsuit is the answer. I have had my wear out of it already as it can be teamed with anything for any occasion. I must be honest and say this jumpsuit can be worn well by any shaped women, small, slim or large by the way it's made and the material it's made from. As you can see I have gone for the casual look and teamed it with a long tailored black jacket and my newest sandals purchased from Zara. To add some sophistication to my out fit I carried a croc effect monochrome satchel.

HONEY I'M HOME

Whyyyyyyyyyy hello there babyloves! Hope all is good!! Wow, again it's been far too long and again I am sorry busy is not the word but I'm back and ready to smoother you all with everything fashion.

So recently I've been working on personal and fashion styling any spare time I have from work I've been travelling getting involved in shoots and I love everything about it. Here's a few BTS pictures of what I've worked on.

BLOCK COLOURS

These pictures were taken on a shoot I styled in London, The model Flossy carried off the clothes effortlessly. The theme of the shoot was block colours (creating an outfit with individual vibrant colours bouncing off each other) This styling job was given to me at short notice in which I had a total of 3hrs to purchase 7 whole outfits. Due to the limited time the one shop in particular which saved the day was hands down ZARA. Mostly all the items of clothing purchased were Zara the rest  purchased from Next, H&M and Vera Moda. Colour blocking is a must do this summer and I highly recommend Zara as the place to shop for these outfits.

WHITE ON WHITE

This has to be one of my favorite styling jobs which I did in Blackpool, I couldn't have asked for a better team. Tasha Ellis from Jadore Models was innovative, quirky and bought life to the shoot. White on White was fairly straight forward the concept was simple, White everything was all over the high street so I had no trouble shopping this shoot.

Top 3 stores on the high st for the all the white look.
Mango
Topshop
Primark

If you want to see the final edits from the shoot have a cheeky flick through my website.

Will keep you updated with more BTS shots soon.

AQUA AND JC PASTEL FAVOURITES

Following my recent blog post on Pastels thought I'd do another one on my personal favorites...

I have a growing collection of AQAQ clothing in particular dresses as I have been buying there pieces for the last year or so. I absolutely luuuuurve AQAQ they create the most exquisite, structural, defining attire yet feminine at the same time. I would strongly recommend for any lady who enjoys wearing refined clothing to try Aqua. Bare in mind that Aqua clothing can be expensive but worth every penny due to the quality of the clothing.

 AQ/AQ  £100
 www.aqaq.com

I bought this dress a while ago whilst it was full price It did go into sale the last time I checked I'm not too not whether it is still on the AQ/AQ website however keep a look out on asos and possibly ebay. I haven't had a chance to wear this yet beauty yet as soon as a little bit of sun comes out I'm definitely wearing it accompanied by these beautiful...

JEFFERY CAMPBELLS (JC)
which speak for themselves. Unfortunately I do not know the price or where they are actually from as my partner gave me both pairs as a birthday present. I taught him well didn't I girls :)  Although  I have previously purchased JC's on karmaloop you could try this website and see if you find them or anything similar.

PASTEL TAKE OVER A/W 13

Heeeeeyyyy babyloves! Another way overdue blog post, apologies for how long I haven’t blogged for, working 7 days a week and studying definitely got the better of me. So, where I have been … Well  I’ve started my new job at House of Fraser as well as working at my current job and I’m also at London School of Styling undertaking a fashion styling course which I absolutely love so as you can imagine I have been extremely busy and haven't given my social life and blog much TLC.

  Candy floss pink
So as you all may have noticed trending this A/W is pastels in particular coats which are noticeably over sized with a boyish silhouette. The most popular colour is candy floss pink especially in coats personally I'm not a fan of the colour pink in general, however I have found some beautiful pieces on the high st following this trend. This trend was one of the styling briefs I was assigned to do from London School Of Styling a few weeks ago  ‘Pastel Hitchcock’ inspired by Alfred Hitchcock. I found that shopping for this brief was quite difficult as I struggled to find complete outfits with the exact shade. I spent the whole day in Birmingham city centre and out out of all the shops on the high st Topshop was the best shop for this trend so if anybody is shopping for anything of fhe pastel shade I recommend Topshop 100%. Here are some of the pieces I got hold of all from the High St.

How I Wear Pastels...
As I've already said before I'm a little bit obsessive with one tone outfits as I think the overall look adds so much more sophistication to any outfit.  Mint Green and Powder Blue are the shades I go for when it come to wearing pastels as these shades I find suit and compliment my dark complexion rather than pinks and yellows as they seem to make my skin complexion seem a lot darker than what it actually is. I  have blogged these outfits before so if you want to know about the outfits in more detail  you can find them in posts Pastel Me and Milan OOTD2.
